It not bad nor great, just a simple dinner

Good food. Friendly staff. Some of the better gluten free pancakes that I have eaten. It is a bit pricey for diner food, but not too bad.

Good old school breakfast diner type restaurant. The food was good, we had breakfast. The service was ok and the atmosphere was typical for a small local diner. The prices are a good value for what you get. Overall it was good and I would go back.

The food was great and the bus boy was on his coffee game but the waitress seemed to disappear after we got our food and anytime she was asked for something it seemed like it was a bother. And no it was not that busy.

I've been a regular since 2003. I've moved now, but I still try to stop in whenever I'm in town. Lovely place, great food. A throwback to the old Greek-owned charcoal grill/diner joints that used to be Chicago's calling card. Highly recommended.

Great little diner that has the usual menu but all made fresh and has a home like atmosphere. The omelettes are always just right and the coffee is tasty and endless. Very good, but feels very small.Portions are good sized and the coffee isn't that burnt stuff that's become popular in other places.Northfield serves typical diner fare, and in a rare move, leads the menu off with lunch food instead of breakfast items (back page).At peak, you'll wait about 15-20 minutes to get a table. The knock on this place is that there's really no place to wait where you're not in the way.The wait staff know everyone who comes in, a sign that there are many regulars.

We've been going here for 12 years. The new outdoor seating was COVID safe, to me. It was nice to go back. The eggs and potatoes were good. Turkey sausage not so much. Wife loves the turkey club. The boy had a gyros which he liked. We will always go back!

Stopped here for breakfast oom a work trip. Service was good and food was solid, nothing over the top. This is a nice cozy place to eat. Beware There is not a lot of parking.

Judging by the crowd that rushed in for lunch, this is one popular diner. It serves typical diner fare, from which I chose a corned beef sandwich. I was impressed with the amount of meat and the flavor. In order to get the option of fries or side salad, you have to upgrade to Deluxe, which costs $1 more. I would rather they just price it all in, as it appeared to be a popular option. The restaurant is pretty small, and parking is scarce out front, but there is a public lot just a short distance behind the building. This is also a popular spot for breakfast.

The price is decent, place is clean and it was a comfortable place. The food, sadly, was mediocre. To be fair, we only ate there once and do feel it was worth what we paid and left full.

We love this little dinner and Fran is the absolute best. The food that comes out of the kitchen is always consistently delicious. The whole staff is always so accommodating. This is our go to dinner.

Nice restaurant in strip mall. Good for brrakfast or lunch. It has a homey atmosphere. The veggie soup was great! I liked the ceasar salad wrap, not too big and it seemed health. I thought the cole slaw was too creamy, needs less mayo.
